So i got all my basic skin care there and they would gaslight me every time I was in there. I’d tell them how many points I have and they’d say “oh next visit you get a free cleanser.” so I’d go in next time and they would say “no? you don’t have enough points for that.” sooooo shady

Certain things I only buy stuff that the seller is Amazon or Amazon warehouse. Makeup, skin care, and hair care to me must come from Amazon as a seller. Most of the time buying from Amazon is more of a convenience than a saving money.

I’ve been using the Beauty of Joseon SPF for over a year with no issue when they were still selling authentic ones from the official BOJ storefront on Amazon . I ordered one from Amazon months ago AFTER the official store was banned from selling it (not knowing about the counterfeit products) and finally opened it last month. Now every time I use it, my face burns and stings and I even had to go to the dermatologist…. I could have sworn this tube was one of my leftover officials… but now I am convinced it’s a fake and I’ve been damaging my skin 😩🙏🏻😔😥

The thing about veneers is that Hollywood/popular actors are **all** getting veneers and they aren’t even good!!!!! AND they get only tops. Like look at Emily Blunts teeth. She has her nice British lower teeth, and like her fourth set of veneers on top. And they are garbage. This woman makes SO MUCH MONEY. It makes no sense. And it drives me insane. I spend way too much time thinking about Hollywood stars’ veneered teeth.

I SWEAR something happened after covid as an after affect because I immediately started having GI problems and went in for a colonoscopy too! Turns out I had a pancreatic dysfunction but I always had a super healthy regular GI track before so it seemed out of the blue. Anyways yes I do notice my skin health has gotten worse since then but when I eat clean and exercise regularly my GI problems lessen and my skin gets better so I try to stay in a routine with that!

It just sucks because the kat von d make up is actually really good for the most part. the shades are great the formulas are great the packaging is great but I CAN'T SUPPORT HER her beliefs are just not in line with mine and i can't support that. like i don't care that she's recently returned to religion and that the brand doesn't belong to her anymore, i just can't stand antivaxxers

Honestly, no matter what part of your body you use in your career, if someone does something that damages that and it stalls or ends your career, that is devastating. Just because models use their faces, body shapes and or hands, does not negate the impact this has on them. Before you judge someone’s level of distress over an injury ask yourself what your life would be like if you woke up tomorrow and no longer could use your hands, or eyes or whether you use in your career.

I have always been careful on Amazon, and have yet to have any issues with fakes. I have seen them there, but it's pretty easy to tell the difference. I have gotten stuff on amazing sales BUT it's either during big sales like Prime Days, or I go to the brands store front, and click "deals." All it takes is paying attention. I don't use TikTok, so no clue about that lol

I don’t like Mario Badescu as a brand, but you can’t deny their drying lotion is good 😭 as someone who has been on roaccutane 3 times and tried literally everything, it’s still the best spot treatment. I’ve never used any of their other products though.

The only Mario Badescu product I've used is their mint lip balm and I bought it not even knowing about this situation. It worked out just fine, but finding out about this now really freaks me out and makes me happy I DIDN'T get anything else from them after that.

10ml less is something like 16% less product. So it is a pretty significant loss for the same price. People are sick of shrinkflation hitting us everywhere. While the label might state the volume it doesn't say its smaller. They are hoping people won't notice, just like grocers.

Tapeworms can sometimes cause bowel perforations. I have Crohns Disease, and have had a bowel perforation within the last year. I have an incredibly high pain threshold. I've had multiple surgeries. I have regular colonoscopies without choosing to have any sedation just so I can drive home. I inject myself every two weeks with my medication for my Crohns. I then have to have blood tests every two weeks to check the medication isn't harming my liver; I actually enjoy blood tests. I find them satisfying. Like I said, I have a very high pain tolerance. I most certainly am not a wimp. You know in hospital they ask you to rate your pain on a scale of 1-10? Whenever I've been asked this, I have always wondered what a 10 actually feels like, as it's hard to rate something when you don't know what that upper limit feels like. When in hospital I don't think I've ever rated higher than 5 or 6? Well, when my bowel perforated, I learnt very quickly what a 10 actually is. Due to having Crohns, I always have access to a selection of different pain meds, so was able to take strong meds during this to help. The hard bit was when I was woke in the morning I'd not taken any pain meds for that 8 hour period of being asleep. So it was immediately after waking that my pain level was a 10. I would be led in bed, and I couldn't reach my pain meds on the bed side table next to me, purely because I couldn't move an inch, I was in that much pain. It was this point I was genuinely screaming out in pain, not able to reach my pain killers, and feeling myself dropping in and out of consciousness. The single worst experience of my life, and I have had Crohns 13 years. Why anyone would risk doing this to themselves is beyond me. Aside from the pain, a perforation can kill you. Along with all the other ways a tapeworm can kill you! It's scary what people will do to be skinny. I can't judge. Every so often I will catch myself wishing I could go into a full blown Crohn's Disease flare so I could loose some weight. When I first got diagnosed, I lost 8 stone in 9 months. Thats obviously not healthy, and even though I was so, so, so unwell, and we didn't know what was wrong yet, I was just so happy I had lost so much weight, I didn't really care. I look back at photos of me around that time, and I look so, so SICK. Like, really, really unwell. But I was just thrilled.

JAMES! I bought the EQQUALBERRY Swimming Pool Ampoule recently because I noticed it has several calming ingredients in it.
